My name is Nadia Benschop-Tob, living and working in Amsterdam where I embrace diversity with a lot of love. I have been working in childcare for 18 years. With a lot of passion, commitment and curiosity I have been able to fill the various functions in childcare over the years.

As a pedagogical assistant, practical trainer, assistant manager and Parent Consultant, I have the necessary knowledge and experience to be able to view the subject of childcare from different angles. As a pedagogical coach, I think mutual trust and respect are important  for a good start between me and my client but also during the proces of coacging.

Method:

My method is determined on the basis of the question, the improvement process of the children's centre and the individual coaching. The information I need comes from the conversations with the managers and observations in the groups. Together with the managers and the employee(s) I evaluate the process. This allows us to adjust the targets to achieve the desired results.

If you have interns  or do you want to have interns in your company then I offer you the necessary support; Organizing the professional practice and writing of the internship policy. From introduction to the Aptitude Test. I maintain contact with the training institutes. Coaching work supervisors and drawing up and implementing protocols.

 

PEDAGOGICAL COACH:

• If you want to improve quality in your children's centre, I act as the spindle between the employees, the pedagogical policy and the implementation.
• In individual coaching or in a group, I will of course rely on the expertise of the employees.
• Depending on the assignment, I use different forms of work during coaching.  When coaching a team, intervision can also be used.
• Implementing the pedagogical policy.
• Change resulting from the IKK law translating to the workplace.
• Observing and offering practical examples and assignments.

 

PRACTICE TRAINER:

Currently there is a shortage of internships. Children's centre, pre-schools and other welfare organizations need to fulfill their social duty by hireing interns. The learning process of the trainees is arranged in such a way that it takes the pedagogical staff /work supervisors as little extra time as possible. Work supervisors gain insight into the internship process and can easily link this to the internship assignments. I coach and support the work supervisors for conducting the progress interviews with the intern. I also carry out the guidance interviews with the training institutes.  Work supervisors receive the necessary support when taking the aptitude test. I am also an assessor for the Prove2Move exams.
